At some point in life, many of us have probably tried the classic grilled cheese and tomato soup combination. It’s easy, yummy, filling and cheap. Emeril Lagasse has made it elegant on the Food Network. Heck, there is even a Facebook group dedicated to the deliciousness of this simple pairing.

But what you may not have tried before now is the Flatout fresh version: FOLDit Grilled Cheese and EdgeOn Tomato Soup. Luckily, our very own founder, Stacey Marsh, has created a video dedicated to demonstrating exactly how it’s done!

You can check out her easy-to-follow instructions and recipe below!

FOLDit Grilled Cheese + EdgeOn Tomato Soup

Ingredients (serves one):

Directions:

Heat tomato soup to a boil. Pour into bowl and allow to cool slightly. Meanwhile, add sliced cheese to one side of the FOLDit. Fold over and place in a George Foreman grill or skillet pan for 40 seconds to 1 minute, or until grill marks form and cheese is melted. Pull FOLDit off the grill or pan. Add crushed EdgeOn Crisps to the tomato soup as a cracker topping. Serve the FOLDit grilled cheese sandwich with fresh fruit on a plate. Dip the sandwich in the soup and enjoy!
