Flatout Cinnamon Toast with Coconut Oil

As we mentioned yesterday, we are incredibly grateful for all our fabulously creative and passionate fans! One fan in particular really blew us out of the water last week, with a handful of delicious and unique new recipes she created using Flatout.

Cinnamon French Toast

If you haven’t met Lisa of 50 in 8 yet, today is your lucky day! She’s a mom on a mission to create a healthier lifestyle for not only herself, but also her entire family. She started her journey back in April and is determined to lose 50 pounds and be a healthier, happier self by Christmas – which we believe is the best gift anyone could ever give themselves and their loved ones!

After winning one of our giveaways, Lisa was inspired to create some new healthy recipes for herself and her family using Flatout. What she tweeted and blogged about over the next week truly blew us out of the water! Here are a few of our favorite creations:

We were particularly excited to try the Cinnamon Toast, and wanted to share the recipe with you as well. Give it a try and let us know what you think!

Cinnamon Toast with Coconut Oil

  • 5 Grain Flax Flatout FOLDits
  • Tropical Traditional Coconut Oil
  • Cinnamon
  • Truvia


  • Plain Greek Yogurt
  • Truvia
  • Cinnamon


Step One: Fill pump spray canister with coconut oil and lightly spray the FOLDits. Lightly sprinkle with cinnamon and about a teaspoon and a half of Truvia.

Step Two: After setting the oven to broil, place FOLDits on lightly greased cookie sheet and place into oven. FOLDits should bake for 3-6 minutes, until ingredients melt together and the bread’s edges are slightly browned.

Step Three: For the dip, mix Truvia and cinnamon to taste, then add to the greek yogurt.
